Spinach is a great leafy green that will help you get nutrients when you’re bloated, but it won’t hurt digestion. Some rougher greens like kale and collards are awesome for you but might lead to bloating since they’re a bit harsher on digestion. Spinach is also high in folate, a B vitamin. All B vitamins are natural diuretics that combat bloating and water weight.
Parsley is one of my favorite super herbs to use in just about everything from soups and salads to entrees, smoothies, and juices. It’s high in potassium, and Vitamin C, which naturally helps reduce bloating, aid in the elimination of water and waste, and are overall just great for you. Parsley can reduce bloat and support in water reduction. Consume it however you can.
