5) Here is another nourishing homemade face scrub recipe:

Mix whole milk, honey and extra virgin olive oil in equal proportions (you will need about 1 table spoon of each ingredient), then, add 2 table spoons of oatmeal. Leave the paste for 5-10 minutes in a bowl, until oatmeal becomes soft; then, gently exfoliate your face, massaging it for 1 or 2  minutes. Rinse with warm, then cold water. This amazing, nourishing facial treatment will not only exfoliate but also soften and moisturize your skin, making it softer and adding a glow.

Here is the list of ingredients (straight from your kitchen) that can be used to prepare natural homemade facial scrubs:

– baking soda,

– white or brown sugar,

– oatmeal,

– rice powder,

– sea salt (better to use it to prepare body scrubs, because it can be too harsh on the face),

– coffee,

– aspirin,

– cornmeal,

– almonds powder,

– Whole wheat flour…

You can improvise and mix the above ingredients with warm water, warm milk, honey, and natural oils to create your own homemade face and body scrubs.

In my opinion, it’s a lot more beneficial to use completely natural skin care ingredients for your face and body, rather than buying expensive facial scrubs with fancy labels and many harmful chemicals.
